Our methodology, deeply rooted in the principles of vigilance and protection, ensures comprehensive security measures that address physical, digital, spiritual and psychological aspects of safety. Further, we aim to provide spiritual care to communities most impacted by gun violence.

The Watchman Project's mission is to safeguard houses of worship and promote peace within communities. Driven by the motto "Guardians of Worship...Agents of Peace," we provide comprehensive security training and support through two initiatives: S.H.A.M.A.R. and R.S.V.P.  S.H.A.M.A.R. focuses on proactive measures to protect sacred spaces, while R.S.V.P. empowers clergy to respond to gun violence with trauma-informed care and reconciliation efforts. Led by Dr. David E. Jackson, we combine expertise in security and crisis management with empathy and understanding, striving to create a world where all people can practice their faith safely and communities are free from violence.
